Wanda Sykes, D.L. Hughley, Chelsea Handler, and Sarah Silverman will all appear as guest hosts on the program in the future, with Jones leading the star-studded cast. Jones will continue to host throughout the week, with broadcasts on Wednesday and Thursday in addition to Tuesday.

“Prepare, news! I’m heading your way “In a commercial for her future performance, Jones stated.

Jones said in an appearance on “CBS Mornings” on Monday that she is best recognized for her time on “Saturday Night Live,” where she was a writer and cast member from 2014 to 2019. Jones believes that these jobs helped her prepare for her time as a host.

She and the host Gayle King also made fun of Jones’ impersonation of King, who appeared in a parody of King’s well-known interview with singer R. Kelly, who is currently serving a sex offender conviction.

Jones is also well-known for her role in the all-female “Ghostbusters” remake with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and other ex-SNL cast members.

Jones stated that while she is “anxious to get out there and show them what I can do,” she feels about her future hosting assignment “exactly like I feel about every job I receive.”

“I’m aware that not everyone will likely agree with the way I present my ideas, but you have to be able to just be yourself, said Jones. I’ll simply be myself, that’s what I’m going to do.”

The final episode of “The Daily Show,” hosted by Noah, aired last month after he announced his resignation as host in September of last year. Noah worked on the program for seven years, from 2015 to 2022.

Comedy Central, a unit of Paramount Global, like CBS News, airs “The Daily Show”

Although the comedian is outspoken, she avoids talking about her romantic relationships. The comedic star, however, claimed that although she is currently single, she is looking for the right man. The comic said that she would adore having a silly man who can make her giggle, thus it appears that she is looking for a humorous person to date.

Kyle is not Leslie’s husband. Although they had some wonderful times together while they were on Saturday Night Live, the two superstars were not dating one another.
