Past Story Of Margot Robbie
Just ask Margot Robbie: becoming famous is no small feat.
The 32-year-old Australian actress’s appearance opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, and Matthew McConaughey in the blockbuster 2013 movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” catapulted her to international fame.
Robbie played Naomi Lapaglia, Jordan Belfort’s second ex-wife in the movie, which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio.
Although her performance received a lot of positive feedback and helped her become one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, fame was a major drawback.
“I distinctly recall telling my mother that I wasn’t sure I wanted to do this. She then turned to face me with a deadpan expression and said, “Darling, I think it’s too late not to,” Then I understood that moving forward was the only option.
The actress admitted that she had to learn how to deal with the paparazzi.
She declared, “I know how to navigate airports, and I now know who’s trying to f-k me over in what manner.
If my mom is killed in a car crash because you wanted a picture of me entering the grocery store, or if you accidentally knock my nephew off a bike, for what? for a picture? Although it’s risky, strangely nothing seems to have changed.
Margot Robbie’s Mental Well Being
Although Robbie has developed coping mechanisms for the extreme celebrity, such as deactivating all of her social media accounts, she acknowledged that she still experiences anxiety.
“I try to describe this work — and this environment — to people by saying that the highs and lows are both extremely high and extremely low. And if you’re lucky, I suppose everything balances out in the middle,” she continued.
Margot Robbie joined her co-star Brad Pitt at a screening and Q&A for their next movie Babylon, putting on another stylish performance in a camel coordinated outfit.
The actress, who is a part of Damien Chazelle’s three-hour epic’s star-studded ensemble, cut a gorgeous figure as she entered the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.
Babylon is “a tale of outsized ambition and extravagant extravagance, as it recounts the rise and fall of numerous people during the early Hollywood era” and is set in the 1920s, when
Margot, who was wearing a chic camel cropped top and flared pants that showed off a hint of her toned abs, seemed upbeat as she talked about the forthcoming release of the movie.
Chazelle, 37, acknowledged that producing this specific movie was “especially tough,” but he also said that “it was a challenge that was fairly exciting to take on.”
Filming ultimately began on July 1, 2021, after being delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and continued for nearly four months, ending on October 21.
Since then, everything has revolved around the film’s post-production process, which is still going strong after a further year of effort.
Pitt, 58, plays Jack Conrad, a movie star at a different point in his career, while Robbie, 32, plays aspiring actress Nellie LaRoy.
But the narrative also follows 30-year-old actor Calva’s portrayal of Mexican-American immigrant Manny Torres as he begins a career as a film assistant.
Olivia Wilde, Tobey Maguire, Li Jun Li, Jean Smart, Tobey Adepo, Max Minghella, Lukas Haas, Rory Scovel, Katherine Waterston, Flea, Jeff Garlin, Eric Roberts, Ethan Suplee, Samara Weaving, and Olivia Hamilton are also included in the cast.
Further Story of Margot Robbie
Spike Jonze, P. J. Byrne, Rory Scovel, Damon Gupton, Phoebe Tonkin, Chloe Fineman, Karina Fontes, Troy Metcalf, and Telvin Griffin are more actors who received roles.
While attending the Toronto International Film Festival in early September, Chazelle, who made history by being the youngest person to win the Best Director Oscar for La La Land at the age of 32, claimed the film shows “humanity at its most dazzling and animalistic.”
The French-American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer’s other works, such as Whiplash (2014) and First Man, may also be well known to his audience (2018).
Chazelle acknowledged that he had been immersed in the project for the past few years and added, “I’ll be extremely glad to finally finish it.”
Although it hasn’t yet been shown to reviewers, Paramount Pictures has already submitted it for awards. Robbie and Calva have been nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor, respectively, while Pitt will compete for Best Supporting Actor.
The other actors up for consideration include Li Jun Li, Jovan Adepo, Tobey Maguire, and Jean Smart.
Along with Matt Plouffe, Pitt and Hamilton are also serving as the movie’s producers.
The U.S. theatrical release of Babylon, which reportedly has a budget ranging from $78 to 110 million, is set for December 23.
