Tuesday night in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, a motorcycle collided with another vehicle, killing the rider, according to police.

A police report states that at at 7:24 p.m. on Tuesday, LVMPD received reports of the collision on West Desert Inn Road near the intersection of South Tenaya Way.

A blue 2014 Toyota Corolla was seen on the scene and in witness accounts going west on West Desert Inn Road as it approached the intersection with South Tenaya Drive

A 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was also moving east in the centre lane of Desert Inn at the same time.

According to the police, the Toyota Corolla attempted to make a left turn on a flashing yellow arrow, which is what caused the crash.

Turning immediately in front of the Harley Davidson's course of travel, which connected with the right side of the Toyota Corolla and caused the driver to be thrown

Emergency medical personnel sent the Toyota Corolla's driver and passenger to the trauma centre at University Medical Center for minor wounds.

The motorcyclist was also sent with fatal wounds to University Medical Center, according to the reports

Medical personnel at UMC declared the motorcycle rider dead after he died from his injuries despite all attempts at preserving his life.
