According to Metro Police, a customer at a towing company in Las Vegas was tragically shot by a man who was enraged because he couldn't get his car out of an impound lot.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire at a business in the 100 block of Wyoming Avenue, north of the Strip, at approximately 11 a.m. today. Lt. Jason Johansson of Metro stated.

The victim, a 40-year-old man, was transferred to University Medical Center where doctors declared him dead, according to the police.

When the suspect arrived at the towing firm to pick up a car, there was a disagreement regarding paperwork and whether the automobile could be released, according to Johansson.

According to Johansson, the suspect became enraged and drew a revolver, shooting the worker when the business refused to let the automobile leave.

Despite authorities looking into a person of interest, the offender ran west on Wyoming and has not been apprehended, according to Johansson.
