A rabbi at Chabad of Southern Nevada had received a call from Sanchez and reported it to the FBI when officers first arrived there at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

According to the complaint, Sanchez dialled a landline, introduced himself, and then threatened the rabbi and the synagogue, calling its attendees murderers

After that, Sanchez, 37, allegedly threatened to shoot up the synagogue, making reference to an incident where a synagogue in California was shot.

The synagogue changed its security measures in response to a potential threat after the rabbi told police that the call terrified him.
